A project initiated by a prominent Russian Architect Yuri Avvakumov, the Arabesque(s) is an architectural exhibition using dance as one of the means of communication and expression of the form and substance of 17 houses presented at the exhibition.

Arabesque is a term of both architectural and choreographic nature, here it synthesizes the two medias into a dialogue.

Counter-Relief house was designed by Yuri Avvakumov himself. The video is a choreographic research on architecture and space of Counter-Relief, physical and visual habitation of the house, transformation and adaptation of the body of a dancer to architectural forms, it's geometry and mood.
